Here's the dashboard showing the responses to the 2016 Member Engagement Survey
(click the "X" to close the window on the unexpected error pop-up, then click on one of the other tabs on top - Tableau Public has a weird bug going on...)
An overview of the tabs
Demographics - This reviews the respondents by gender identity, and experience with LARP, the World of Darkness setting, and World of Darkness LARPing (timeframe scales)
Demographics II - This reviews respondents by gender identity and affiliations with other WoD/Non-WoD LARP clubs. There is also a filter for viewing # of respondents by home chapter.
Chapter & Future Direction - this shows #'s of respondents by chapter as well as the summary of the "Future Direction" scaled questions. You can click on one or more chapters to see how their members responded.
Preference-HP Evaluation - This has the "What do I prefer in LARP" 1-5 scale questions on the horizontal and HP ratings ("How well is HP doing on ...") 1-5 scale on the vertical. There's another drop-down that changes the color coding based on the demographic data you want to review (home chapter, gender, LARP experience, etc.)
Preference - Future Direction - This has the "What do I prefer in LARP" 1-5 scale questions on the horizontal and the future direction questions on a 1-5 scale on the vertical. There's another drop-down that changes the color coding based on the demographic data you want to review (home chapter, gender, LARP experience, etc.)
The Board of Directors will be reviewing this (and other data slices) after elections in order to determine future initiatives for our club
The engagement survey is meant to open up the conversation on where we as a club want to go. We understand that the feedback given in the survey was from the "most engaged" at the time the survey took place. We realize some may have been skeptical and not took part in the survey, and now want to voice their feedback/concerns since we are showing that we're listening. That's totally okay.
While Facebook/Emails/Forums are okay mediums for spit-balling, the actionable discussions regarding policy change will happen among the Storytellers and Administrators on the officer lists. Share your questions/comments/concerns with them so they can better collaborate with their peers and the Board.
